I just replaced the output caps with Clarity Cap ESA Series .47uF oops, I mean 2.2uF.  So far so good.

Other mods shown are PJCCS PC board and Kimber copper signal wire.

So far it sounds very good.

That looks good. I'm sure it sounds better. Over the summer I put those exact caps along with the 2.2uF version in my SEX amp with C4S. I study while I listen to my headphones, and I find that I'm not very productive when my jaw drops and I rewind the music to hear passages over again. I hope those caps treat you like they have me.

I used to be able to read while listening.  Then I became a Bottlehead and I can't read with the stereo on anymore.

We stayed in a Hilton near your school on the way back from RMAF. Man, the college girls in that town are CUTE! Now I understand why you go to school in a town that is buried under snow all winter.

I fixed my post to say I put in the 2.2uF caps.  I had .47's on my brain as I have those for a pair of Dynakit Mk IVs which I'll be upgrading next.

Yeah, I have 1uF ESA caps as the output caps of my Sex amp as well with a giant V-Cap in the .1 cap position.  It's probably the best sounding of all my gear including my mucho-expensive bryston integrated.
