We all play with new tubes.... well we tube roll.  That is one of the best things about tubed equipment is that you can change the character of your amp to your liking.  Can't do that with transistors.  They all sound alike....

I have the NOS tubes from Tubedepot.com.  They were Canadian Westinghouse (at least that's what they shipped me about a year ago) I have had no problems with microphonics with these, i can even throw the switch almost silently.
