Anone interested in getting together to purchase a run of Paramour II iron.

Have seen a bit of interest in PII iron for SR-45s and with the new soft start shunt board. Wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together to order a batch of Paramour II iron.

I had Eileen order me a pair about a year and a half ago for a SR-45 project I built and the one offs weren't too badly priced. Would like to pick up a few more pairs for some other projects I have been scheming up. So figured I would see if anyone else wanted to go in on a limited run to get the price down further.

How much would it be for a pair?

If I remember correctly they were about $60-70 a piece for a one off. So hope it would be less than that. I'd like to pick up 3 more pairs. Want to build another set of stockish PIIs, a pair to build PIIs with the new soft start shunt, and a pair to experiment with.

There is at least one active question about a special run of 240-v versions. I haven't talked to Doc B about any of these - he's just getting back from the HeadFi meeting in California.
