Hi,

I am interested in the Steromour. May I enquire the following:
1. Is the Steromour use A/C or DC filament supply?
2. Can it be configured as a power amp only? I already have a good pre and don't want to compromise the sound quality by palssing through the signal through a volume pot.
3. When the 220V-240v version be available?

Thanks

Andy

Andy,

The stereomour uses AC filaments, and yes, you can build it as a power amp only by leaving out the selector switch, volume pot, and loading the input with a 100k resistor.

Hope this helps,

Jim

Thanks Jim. I am now using the Paramount configured as 2A3 dc amp. I am considering the stereomour as a 45 amp. I like AC filament for 45.

Waiting for the 220v -240v to place an order.

(ps : apart from the stereomour, I am also eyeing at the foreplay and crack)
