Will the Stereomours power switch handle an additional 5VA torroidal transfomer?  I am adding a LDR volume control to my Stereomour and would like the same switch that activate the stereomour to also power up the LDR volume control.

Thanks,
Ed

Ed,

I can send you a part number for a dpdt version from mouser later on when I'm back at my other computer.

Did you try the LDR?  Just curious.

Hi Jim,
Please forward the witch info when you have it, much appreciated.

No, I have not heard the LDR yet.  I can tell you that the Stereomour connected directly to my DAC with the speaker outputs drivng the bass amps of the V1s utilizing MPDs digital volume control (and losing bits) sounds fantastic, the best my system has ever sounded.

From what I have read the LDR is the closest to having nothing in the audio path, the Lighter Note version also has a means to adjust for the best match of input and output impedances.

I will be picking up the Lighter Note with my fingers crossed that it is as good as what most are saying.

Best,
Ed
