Says on the website that the Seduction plate is built with a 0.040" chassis plate. Is that still the case or is that legacy? I have the original Foreplay as well as one of the new SEX amps with the new, thicker plate and the plate on the SEX amp is absolutely amazing, but I have trouble even keeping the Foreplay in the box.

I think the Seduction still has the same top plate.  Mine's original.  I have not had a problem with the plate moving.  I put a finger on it when I remove an RCA plug.  If it becomes a problem you can put small wood blocks at each corner, drill four holes and screw the top plate to the newly installed blocks.
