Paul as suggested I have started a new therad on this. I found an old post of your that gave some details already.

Has anyone actually tried this ? I am interested to know if this would be a worthwhile doing from the outset.

Also rather than me shopping around for the parts (which I presume are available for the Eros)  would it be possible to put a bag of the alrenative parts together for me and have them shipped with my kit when its ready ?

Great! Now I don't have to re-invent that post!

The Seduction parts are of similar quality to the Eros parts, the main difference is 5% vs. 3% precision. I think the change would be meaningless unless you are going for some particular boutique capacitors.
