I have some IKEA LED lights that I would like to install on my stereo rack, to illuminate the TT and other components.  This LED pack has a power supply that powers the lights (duh).

So do I need to be concerned that this unit may introduce unwanted noise into my audio system?  When I listen, I put my receiver into Pure Direct mode, which bypasses most of the internals and kills the front display panel.  I don't want to add unwanted noise...

If you already have teh lights, and the stereo, then it should be easy to find out!

Probably it is a valid worry; Ikea is cheap and the cheapest wallwarts are switching power supplies with minimal filtering.
