Looks like that 5U4G rectifier is about to launch itself into low earth orbit....   No, this isn't one of my experiments "gone wrong", someone just sent me this photo of an impending disaster.

The sharp-eyed observer will also notice that metal 6L6s are inserted into the two sockets marked for 6L6Gs, but this shouldn't be causing Chernobyl to melt down...
