I ordered some tools through Amazon and with my order came a electronics tools dream book. The prices are pretty high but the pictures and descriptions are excellent (short of going to the manufacturer's web sit). Flipping through it I discovered that some of the makeshift tools I've made are available as a polished product. As always, there were tons of things that I didn't know I wanted till I saw it (probably exactly what the company had in mind when they sent it!).
It's nice to be able to see what's available for a given task (how about 26 pages of soldering stations).
Sure, many of these can be seen in many other catalogs but in many of those, if you don't know what you're looking at, it's hard to tell exactly what it does.
