Ultraperm Shielding for Radio Frequency interference fix ?

I have had some radio station signals come into my system via the turntable, and wonder if this product may be of any use on my LP12 or generally if it may be of use elsewhere (about to build a Foreplay III kit.)   I would appreciate a knowledgeable opinion as to whether it is useful or if it is snake oil.

This may not be the knowledgeable post you requested, I'll share my opinion anyway:  I'm pretty sure the ultraperm is a mumetal intended to shield Magnetic fields.  While I think it will also shield radio noise, you could shield that much more cheaply with any sort of faraday cage.  (Plus, I have an axe to grind with electronics goldmine.  If their expensive shipping doesn't turn you off, then their poor customer service might eventually.)  BTW, I started picking up extra hum from my turntable when I switch from a DynaVector to a Shure cartridge.  I thought about just shielding the cartridge, but I'll probably just switch back to the DV.
