mine is 0.112 inch, just a little under 1/8

Thanks Tim - so standard 3mm(ish) - just a bit of forward planing for a case for the Quickie.

The plates are indeed 3mm, although the manufacturer specifies that this is 1/8".  To offer the best quality plate, I pretty much exclusively get cast material, as it is more tolerant to chemicals, heat, etc.  Unfortunately, the thickness tolerances on cast acrylic are all over the place...
