Alps RK27 in the Quickie

I swapped out the stock volume pot for an Alps RK27.
Sounds a bit darker at first, after some run in, I think it is now a bit more detailed,
maybe the darker was a bit quieter background?
Slightly more bloom in the bass/mid bass region.
Now with the Telefunkens, the Audio Caps and the Alps, it is really coming alive.
Up next, silver 5N OCC wiring in silk? Not sure yet.
I also have a pair of Mullards to roll in an give a listen.
Not that it was bad to begin with, most impressive for the cost.
