Hey all, I built myself a set of the Cornscala's from Bob Crites site using all of his parts and the original build plans of the original Cornwall's. I love these speakers and would love to pair them up to the Stereomour, however am not sure the 3.5w will be enough to move the 15 inch woof enough......... they are rated at 100.5db, any thoughts re enough umph in the lower octaves???

Hi Rick,
I plan to use my stereomour with my 70s Cornwalls, and I'm just guessing here, but I think they'll be fine, though I will definitely be trying the 4 ohm tap first.

The recommendation is 96+dB. Those would be fine.

You will probably find that converting the amp to a 2 watt per channel #45 amp would still provide plenty of power.

I don't remember what size woofer my Klipsch Chorus II have but I think it is the same size. They are rated around 100-101db and the Paramounts in 2a3 can drive them to ear splitting levels and dynamics are great. So I am quite positive that the Stereomours will dive your Cornscalas since the efficiency ratings are the same and the power output is the same for the Paramount and Stereomour.

The Paramours kick ass on my heresy's. I don't think I have ever had the volume all the way up. The 15 inch woofer will be more efficient and louder than the 12 inch in mine.

Just curious, how much did everything run you to build these?
