I am wondering if anyone has done this yet and if so what the results have been like and of course, the best way to do this...

It's going to depend mostly on which SUT you are planning on using.  There is space up towards the inputs to install something the size of a Cinemag under the chassis.  Keep the wiring short to reduce hum pickup.  Shielding may be necessary.  I had a pair of Cinemag's in the prototype to determine layout but never ran them.  I ended up using 4722's which required a seperate box due to size.
