Hey all, just as I was finishing up the Paramounts, I came across a nice pair of JBL 4320's (upgraded to 4333, but I rewired them back to 4320). I'm driving the combo straight out of the headphone jack of a macbook w/itunes, and the sound is pretty amazing. Hmmmmm, just need to add a nice DAC, now..... Thanks to the Bottlehead team for another great kit and the super customer service! --keto

Congratulations!  Post pictures in the Gallery too.

Maybe to hear the full potential of the Paramounts you could add an Eros and some vinyl, or Doc would say a Tape Project RTR.

My inspiration for picking up a pair of Paramounts was hearing what they do in xcortes's system, listening to Oistrakh play Bruch on one of the Tape Project recordings, which was like... time travel. For me, vinyl is next and a Bottlehead DAC, whenever that becomes available. To my ears there's something especially magical to the Paramounts when they're loafing, if you know what I mean :-)

Great! Now, as Grainger said, time to start working on an analog front end.

Seduction with C4S!  Excellent!

I like the finish on the base.  Is that a stock base?  I didn't know you could get that much grain from alder.

Thats some unfinished tongue and groove flooring. Not sure what kind of wood it is, but with a little sanding and linseed oil and a lot of subsequent scuffing and abuse, it looks like this....
