Hello all,

I guess this makes me a fledgling Bottlehead. I have a set of Lowther DX4s that I have been running in the Bob Brines MLTL cabinets I built last year. For the fun of it I have built a set of Medallion III cabinets and have the DX4s running in them. The MLTL cabinets incorporated a baffle step correction circuit that reduced the efficiency of the DX4 drivers. In the MLTL mode I could hear my amp noise, but just barely. In the Medallion the amp noise is very intrusive, so I've been looking at my options and I just have a good feeling about this unit.  I built my preamp several years ago from a kit and had a great time doing it. It was my first kit and it even worked when I turned it on. Imagine that! This is going to be fun.

BTW. My music source is primarily analog which I am back into after 20 years. The new 45 rpm offerings are rediculously expensive, but wow do they sound amazing.
